The Shaykh : Say, "Read the Verse of the Throne: [Al-Baqarah 2:255] Listen to it so that we may recite it now as a narration and as worship. [Al-Baqarah 2:255] When Abu Hurayrah came to the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) and informed him, he said to him: He told you the truth. What does that mean? He informed you of the truth, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) affirmed the truth that came from whom?
The student: Satan.
The Shaykh : The truth is accepted from any person, and falsehood is rejected from any person.
Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede
Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.
He has told you the truth, and he is a liar
