Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: "And its keepers will say to them, 'Peace be upon you! You have attained purity, so enter it to abide eternally.'"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) said:
until, when they reach it while its gates have been opened and its keepers say حَتَّى إِذَا جَاءُوهَا وَفُتِحَتْ أَبْوَابُهَا وَقَالَ لَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَا
[Az-Zumar 39:73]
This is the plural of khazin (keeper).
Peace be upon you سَلامٌ عَلَيْكُمْ
"Peace" is safety from every affliction. Name one of the afflictions for me?
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : Stand up, you are distracted. May Allah guide you. The affliction of death: they are safe from it because the angels say: "Peace be upon you." Illness, fatigue, worry, and grief. The people of Paradise are in perpetual joy and bliss, such that even the one who is lower in rank than others does not see that others are higher in rank than him, because he has found contentment
They will not desire from it any transfer. لا يَبْغُونَ عَنْهَا حِوَلاً
[Al-Kahf 18:108]
meaning they do not seek a change, because they are comfortable and blessed.
Peace be upon you; you have become pure سلام عليكم طبتم
[Az-Zumar 39:73]
After the removal of what? The adornment. Meaning, when you want your wife to adorn herself for you, first remove the dishevelment from her head; this is called what? Removal (takhliyah). Then put the jewelry on her; this is called adornment (tahliyah). The point is that they first say:
Peace be upon you سلام عليكم
and this is peace from all afflictions. Then they say:
You have attained purityطبتم
and this means that they receive everything that pleases their hearts.
So enter it to abide eternally فادخلوها خالدين
Forever or for a limited time? The people of Paradise forever, as stated in several verses.
