The Meaning of the Statement of Allah the Exalted: "So today We will save you with your body, to be a sign for those who come after you."

As for Pharaoh himself, Allah the Mighty and Majestic saved him; He saved him with his body to be, as Allah the Mighty and Majestic says: meaning that it would be a sign for the Children of Israel that you perished. Because the Children of Israel, due to the severity of what befell them and the terror from Pharaoh, might not believe that he had died, and they would not be reassured until they saw what? His body. Until they saw his body with their own eyes. So Allah the Exalted saved his body so that the Children of Israel would know that he had completely perished.
