Allah the Exalted said: << فأنجيناه و أهله إلا امرأته قدرناها من الغابرين >

Allah the Mighty and Majestic said: [Surah al-Naml: 57]. When they resolved to expel him, Allah the Exalted commanded him to leave by Allah's command. The angels came to him and ordered him to depart with his household, except for his wife, who was among those left behind.
So he departed by Allah's command. When he was far from the town, Allah the Exalted destroyed the people of the town in the morning [Surah Hud: 81]. He sent upon them stones of baked clay, turning their upper part to their lower part. For this reason, He said: [Surah al-Naml: 57]. Is the interrogative connected or disconnected?
The student: ...disconnected.
The Shaykh : ...so it is disconnected [Surah al-Naml: 57].
In this is evidence that the woman is part of the household, because a man takes her as his household and seeks refuge with her, and likewise she is so with regard to him. The wife is part of a man's household, just as his relatives, his children and his fathers, are also part of the household [Surah al-Naml: 57], meaning: We decreed for her and determined for her. For this reason, he said: "We made her, by Our decree, among those left behind in the punishment". "Ghabir" means: the one who remains. So the meaning is that she remained and did not depart with him, and she became, may Allah protect us, among those who perished.
[Surah al-Naml: 57]. And this is the meaning of the saying of Allah the Exalted: [Surah al-Tahrim: 10]. For this betrayal is not a betrayal of chastity or honor, but rather a betrayal of disbelief, because they displayed that they were believing women while they were not, and by this they became betrayers.
He said: [Surah al-Naml: 57]
So We saved him and his household
فَأَنجَيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُSo he departed by Allah's command. When he was far from the town, Allah the Exalted destroyed the people of the town in the morning
Indeed, their appointment is [for] the morning. Is not the morning near?"

إِلَّا امْرَأَتَهُ قَدَّرْنَاهَا مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَAllah presents an example of those who disbelieved: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot. They were under two of Our righteous servants but betrayed them
