Tafsir of Surat al-Inshirah. Allah the Exalted said: "Did We not expand for you your chest? And We removed from you your burden. Which had weighed upon your back. And We raised for you your mention."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : As for al-Inshirah, Allah says to His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him):
Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast? ألم نشرح لك صدرك
[Ash-Sharh 94:1]
meaning for Islam.
And raised high for you your repute. ورفعنا لك ذكرك
[Ash-Sharh 94:4]
meaning that you are mentioned with a face of elevation and high status. When is the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned in any matter? I say that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) is mentioned in all acts of worship. The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) is mentioned in all acts of worship, because worship is based on two things: sincerity to Allah, and the second is following. So when I pray, or perform wudu, or fast, or give charity, I feel that by doing so I am sincere to Allah and following the Messenger of Allah. So in every act of worship, the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) is mentioned with it. When Allah opens the heart and revives the heart such that a person feels that in his worship he is sincere to Allah and following the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
