What is the meaning of the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever performs cupping or seeks ruqyah has abandoned reliance upon Allah"?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : A questioner asks: What is the meaning of the hadith of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)?

The Shaykh : May Allah send blessings and peace upon him.

The questioner :
Whoever seeks treatment by cauterization, or with Ruqyah, then he has absolved himself of At-Tawakkul (reliance upon Allah). من اكتوى أو استرقى فقد برئ من التوكل

Whoever performs cupping من اكتوى
?

The questioner :
Whoever seeks treatment by cauterization, or with Ruqyah, then he has absolved himself of At-Tawakkul (reliance upon Allah). من اكتوى أو استرقى فقد برئ من التوكل

The Shaykh : I do not think this is authentic from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), but it is reported that
That in this Ummah there are seventy thousand who will enter Paradise without reckoning or punishment, and they are those who do not seek ruqyah, do not perform cupping, do not take omens, and place their reliance upon their Lord أن في هذه الأمة سبعين ألفا يدخلون الجنة بلا حساب ولا عذاب وهم الذين لا يسترقون ولا يكتوون ولا يتطيرون وعلى ربهم يتوكلون
, meaning they do not ask anyone to do that for them. However, if it is done to them without their request, there is no contradiction. That is, if someone enters upon a sick person and recites for him without the patient's request, this does not exclude him from the seventy thousand, provided he is among them. Likewise, if they cupped a person, for example a sick person who has no sensation and does not feel it, and his family cupped him, that does not contradict the ruling. Because "performing cupping" (ikhtawa) means what? It means asking someone to cup him. "Seeking ruqyah" (istaraqa) means asking someone to perform ruqyah for him. Yes.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.
