Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :
(4) There is no soul but that it has over it a protector. (5) So let man observe from what he was created. إن كل نفس لما عليها حافظ * فلينظر الإنسان مم خلق
[At-Tariq 86:4-5]
"So let man look..." The fā' is a conjunction, and the lām is the lām of command. "So let man look from what he was created." From where? From what was he created? Answer: He was created from a spurting fluid. This is the answer from Allah.
(6) He was created from a fluid, ejected, (7) Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs. خلق من ماء دافق * يخرج من بين الصُلب والترائب
[At-Tariq 86:6-7]
Glory be to the All-Able, Mighty and Majestic. From this humble spurting fluid, man is created, the clear adversary. Allah the Exalted said:
Does man not consider that We created him from a [mere] sperm-drop - then at once he is a clear adversary? أولم ير الإنسان أنا خلقناه من نطفة فإذا هو خصيم مبين
[Ya-Sin 36:77]
"He was created from a spurting fluid"
(6) He was created from a fluid, ejected, (7) Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs. من ماء دافق يخرج من بين الصلب والترائب
[At-Tariq 86:6-7]
