Who are the followers of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

The Shaykh : And the followers? His followers are those who were upon his methodology and his conduct in creed, speech, and action. It is necessary, when mentioning the followers, to qualify them, so we say: what? His followers with excellence, as He the Exalted said: So it is qualified with excellence so that it does not include one who claims to be a follower of them but has not done so with excellence. This is what we intended to speak about from the noble verses we heard recited in the standing of this night, for which we ask Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) to grant us success for its good and to make us among those who stand it in prayer with faith and seeking reward.
