The Meaning of the Saying of Allah the Exalted: "An abomination of speech and a lie."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Allah the Exalted described zihar as
an objectionable statement and a falsehood منكر من القول وزوراً
[Al-Mujadila 58:2]
an abomination in ruling and a lie in report. What does this mean? An abomination in ruling and a lie in report. An abomination in ruling means that a person is not approved of it; rather, it is an abomination from which one must be deterred. A lie in report because he said: "I will make people lawful to me who are most forbidden to me." He said, "She is like my mother's back." This is a lie, because his mother's back is forbidden and his wife's back is lawful. For this reason, Allah described zihar as
an objectionable statement and a falsehood منكر من القول وزوراً
[Al-Mujadila 58:2]
