The Shaykh : But if you did it and said to your wife, "You are forbidden to me," or "If you leave the house, you are forbidden to me," or something similar, what is the ruling? Allah the Mighty and Majestic made it clear in His saying:
Allah has already ordained for you [Muslims] the dissolution of your oaths قد فرض الله لكم تحلة أيمانكم
[At-Tahrim 66:2]
Allah the Exalted made the prohibition an oath, and the expiation for the oath is feeding ten poor people or clothing them...
