The Meaning of Her Statement: "If Your Family Wishes, I Will Redeem Them for You, and Your Loyalty Will Be Mine."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :
So she came to Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) seeking her help. Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "If your family, meaning your masters, meaning her masters, wish, I will redeem them for you by paying them the price in cash, and I will do so, and your loyalty will be mine," meaning you will be affiliated to me in loyalty, not to your family. So Barira went to her family and said to them, but they refused. They said: "No, the loyalty is ours; you are affiliated to us, no." And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was with Aisha when Barira returned from her family and informed her, and informed Aisha that they had refused except that the loyalty be theirs. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Take her and stipulate the loyalty for them, for the loyalty belongs only to the one who frees the slave."
, so she went and took her on this condition, that the loyalty would belong to them. Aisha took her,
Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up and addressed the people.
Al-Mustadrak lil-Hakim 26:271
making it clear that this condition is defective and void.
