The Shaykh : This is gambling, and it is a form of maysir (gambling). It is not permissible for a person to engage in this type of transaction, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
No stake is acceptable except in archery, racing a camel, and racing a horse. لا سبق إلا في نصل أو خف أو حافر
