Clarification of the ruling on the jinn not complying with the worship of Allah the Exalted.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : So if the jinn do not perform worship, what is the situation? We say: If their condition reaches the level of disbelief, they are in the Fire, based on the saying of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He:
[Allah] will say, "Enter among nations which had passed on before you of jinn and mankind into the Fire." قال ادخلوا في أمم قد خلت من قبلكم من الجن والإنس في النار
[Al-A'raf 7:38]
from the jinn and mankind in the Fire. And if they obey, they enter Paradise, based on His saying, the Exalted, in Surat al-Rahman:
(46) But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens - (47) So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - ولمن خاف مقام ربه جنتان * فبأي آلا ربكما تكذبان
[Ar-Rahman 55:46-47]
And to whom is the address directed? To the jinn and mankind. And this is the stronger position: that they enter Paradise if they are obedient. We return after this to worship. We said that worship is used for how many meanings?
The student: Two meanings.

The Shaykh : Two meanings. Worship is al-ta'abbud, which is the action of the servant, and the second is ma'bud bihi, which is that by which the servant worships. Each of them has its own definition.
