What is the ruling on the *kab* for a woman, which is tight on the woman's body?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : O Shaykh, regarding the *kab*, the *kab* that has appeared now is tight; it is just a tight garment on the woman, and shapes have started to appear from it. How is it permissible if it is not restricted by the non-revelation of these shapes?

The Shaykh : Yes, if the *kab* that has appeared now is tight, it falls under the hadith:
Women who are clothed yet naked نساء كاسيات عاريات
because the tightness that outlines the sections of the body is not permissible for a woman.
And the truth is that it is incumbent upon us, the students of knowledge, to be cautious about following customs that do not bring us good. Why do we not take pride in our customs? If a woman from among us goes to their lands, for example, and she is wearing the *abayah*, do they follow our example? Do they wear *abayahs*? I do not think so.
How is it that we submit to their customs while they take pride in submitting to our customs? However, if the customs are beneficial and more beneficial than the customs we have, then yes, the believer seeks benefit, provided it is not in disobedience to Allah.
Then, the humiliation of a person before the customs of people necessitates that he humbles himself.
Therefore, Ibn Khaldun mentioned in his *Muqaddimah* that among the customs is that no one submits to following another unless he feels that he is less than him, because this is the Sunnah of Allah that the weak follows the strong. So let us be strong, strong, but...

The questioner : The brothers who were in lands other than their own: at the beginning, *tabarruj* (display of adornment) is the hardest thing for a woman. She puts on an *abayah* and then goes out like this. Even those who wore the *kab*, some of them say: "Days and weeks passed and I was not able to take it off and descend to this level, as if it is a step toward..."

The Shaykh : There is no doubt, may Allah reward you, that all transitions to customs are step by step. Do not be deceived by the appearance of the present situation; it is all a step.
Until, for example, when you find her first wearing the *kab* and walking in the market, she is as if she is naked, as if she is naked, because she did not know this thing. Then after that, this thing softens in her heart, it softens and softens, and then it becomes a step to what is above. Yes.
