What is the ruling on teachers taking money from students and placing it in the school box with the intention of contributing to the cafeteria, where it is not touched throughout the year and is returned to the students at the end of the year, such that the one who paid less may receive more?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : A school mentions that it takes money from the female students and places it in the school’s box with the intention that it is a contribution to the cafeteria, but the money is not moved from the box throughout the year.
At the end of the year, they take out the money, so if, for example, a student paid ten riyals, they give her twenty-five based on the contributions in the school, but this money does not come out of the box. Is there any harm in that?

The Shaykh : There is no harm in this, because these coins deposited in the box are considered a trust, like a deposit, and the teachers lend the students what they spend on this cafeteria. If, at the end of the year, they calculate the expenditure and the profit, and then return it to the students.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.
