Does a young man take out a loan in order to marry a second wife or for the sake of the 'aqiqah?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Does a man take out a loan to marry another woman, and does he take out a loan for the sake of the 'aqiqah?

The Shaykh : As for taking out a loan for marriage, it is not prescribed, because the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the one who did not find anything to marry with:
Do you have anything of the Qur'an? He said: Yes. He said: I marry you to what you have of the Qur'an هل معك شيء من القرآن ؟ قال : نعم قال : زوجتك بما معك من القرآن
and he did not guide him to borrowing. Perhaps this is indicated by the saying of Allah the Exalted:
But let them who find not [the means for] marriage abstain [from sexual relations] until Allah enriches them from His bounty. وَلْيَسْتَعْفِفِ الَّذِينَ لا يَجِدُونَ نِكَاحاً حَتَّى يُغْنِيَهُمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ
[An-Nur 24:33]
This man has a wife with whom he is content until Allah enriches him from His bounty. As for borrowing for the sake of the 'aqiqah, it is looked at: if he expects to be able to repay, like a man who is employed, but the time for the 'aqiqah came and he did not have any money, so he borrowed from someone until the salary came, then there is nothing wrong with that. But if he does not expect to be able to repay, meaning he has no source from which he expects to repay, then he should not borrow.

The questioner : There is a text from Imam Ahmad, O Shaykh.

The Shaykh : Imam Ahmad, yes, he said: "He borrows, and Allah will replace it for him; he revives a Sunnah" But his words are understood in the way I mentioned, with the detail, meaning a person who is able to repay.
