Is it permissible for the ma'mum to precede the imam in saying the ameen?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Is it permissible for the ma'mum to precede the imam by saying: Ameen, after al-Fatihah?

The Shaykh : Precede him with the Ameen?

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : What does it mean to precede him with the Ameen?

The questioner : Precede him by saying: Ameen.

The Shaykh : But after he has said: And not the astray?

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : There is no harm in that.

The questioner : Precede him?

The Shaykh : Yes, he precedes him, because the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Do not precede me in saying Ameen
But he used to say Ameen immediately, after saying: And not the astray, he would say: Ameen. And in Sahih Muslim, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: إذا قال: ولا الضالين فقولوا: آمين When he says: And not the astray, then say: Ameen.
So he made the place of our saying:
Ameen آمين
when the imam says:
nor those who go astray ولا الضالين
.
As for those among the people who assume that his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
When the Imam says Amin, say Amin
Sunan Abi Dawud 936Sahih (Al-Albani)
The meaning of his saying:
When he says ameen
is when he begins, as evidenced by the second wording I mentioned to you: إذا قال: ولا الضالين فقولوا: آمين When he says: And not the astray, then say: Ameen.

The questioner : ...

The Shaykh : I heard the hadith: إذا قال: ولا الضالين فقولوا: آمين When he says: And not the astray, then say: Ameen We said:
When he says ameen
meaning: When he begins the ameen, then say ameen.
