Explanation of the Book of Ablution, the Full Ritual Bath, Menstruation, and Dry Ablution-01b

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Adam narrated to us, saying: Shu'bah narrated to us from 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Sahib, who said: I heard Anas say:
The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), when he entered the place of relief, would say: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the male and female evil spirits." كان الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلّم إذا دخل الخلاء قال : اللهم إني أعوذ بك من الخبث والخبائث
As-Sunan al-Kubra lil-Nasa'i 1:19
.
Ibn 'Urayrah followed him from Shu'bah, and Ghundar said from Shu'bah:
When he went to the place of relief إذا أتى الخلاء
, and Musa said from Hammad:
When he entered إذا دخل
, and Sa'id ibn Zayd said: 'Abd al-'Aziz narrated to us:
wanted to enter إذا أراد أن يدخل
Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 692
.

The Shaykh : Yes, and this last wording explains what came before; the meaning is:
When he entered إذا دخل
, that is, when he intended to enter. The *khala'* is the place where a person withdraws, which is the place for relieving oneself. So if there is a place prepared for that, then when he intends to enter it, let him say what was mentioned. But if there is no place prepared, then when he takes the last step where he will sit, let him say this, just as if he were in the open desert.
And his saying:
Allahumma inni a'uthu bika min al-khubuthi wal-khaba'ith (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from male and female devils) اللهم إني أعوذ بك من الخبث والخبائث
Sunan an-Nasa'i 19Sahih (Darussalam)
has two wordings:
The first wording is:
from the male and female evil spirits من الخُبْث والخبائث
.
And the second wording is:
from the male and female evil spirits من الخُبُثِ والخبائث
.
So according to the first wording, the meaning of *al-khubuth* is all evil; the meaning of *al-khubuth* is all evil, and the meaning of *al-khaba'ith* is the evil, wicked souls, among which are the jinn. And according to the wording with the *ba'* closed (damma), the meaning of *al-khubuth* is the plural of *khabith*, which are the male jinn, and the meaning of *al-khaba'ith* is the plural of *khabithah*, meaning the female jinn. Thus, it is seeking refuge from the male and female jinn. Which of the two is more general?
The first is more general.
The appropriateness of this seeking refuge is that the places of relief and dirty places are the abode of the jinn, so one fears that a person may be harmed by these jinn for which these are their abode. Yes.
The apparent meaning of the hadith is that he does not say anything other than that, but it has been reported in the Sunnah that he says, in addition to this:
In the name of Allah بسم الله
