What is the authenticity of the addition: (Bring me something else)?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : This hadith, the Shaykh says, has narrators who are trustworthy and steadfast.

The Shaykh : Which one is it:
Bring me something else إيتني بغيرها
?

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah. In reality, the fact that Ibn Mas'ud asked and did not find it weakens the hadith. However, it can be said that Ibn Mas'ud asked and did not find it because he assumed the command was not absolute. So if he said:
Bring me something else ايتني بغيرها
, he would search more. That is, those who weakened this narration said he did not need to say "Bring me something else" since he had already asked and not found it. It is said there is a difference between a person making an ordinary request and a person making a request after pressing the matter.
