The reciter: Abdullah ibn Muhammad narrated to us, saying: Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us, saying: Zuhr narrated to us from Abu Ishaq, saying: Abu Ja'far narrated to us:
That he was with Jabir ibn Abdullah, along with his father, and there were some people with them. They asked him about the full ritual bath (ghusl), and he said: "A sa' (a dry measure of about 3 kg) is sufficient for you." A man said, "It is not sufficient for me." Jabir said, "It was sufficient for one who had more hair than you and was better than you." Then we wrapped ourselves in a single garment.
أنه كان عند جابر بن عبد الله هو وأبوه وعنده قوم فسألوه عن الغسل فقال : يكفيك صاع فقال رجل ما يكفيني، فقال جابر كان يكفي من هو أوفى منك شعرا وخير منك ثم أمنا في ثوب
