The wisdom is not what some scholars mentioned, that the owner of a camel usually relieves himself around it to use it as a screen. Rather, the operative cause is that they were created from the jinn. And when they are created from the jinn, the pastures where they spend the night and take refuge become full of jinn. Some scholars have held that the operative cause is a matter of pure worship, and that we do not know what the reason is, and Allah knows best.
