The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
... This is an excerpt from the author’s words in which he clarifies the final position among the people’s positions regarding the speech of Allah, which is the position of the people of al-Ittihad who assert the unity of existence, that the Lord is the very same as the created, and the Creator is the very same as the created. They said: If the Lord is the very same as the created, and the Creator is the very same as the created, then it follows that the speech of the created is the speech of the Creator. So they made the speech of Allah the speech of the created beings. Thus, my speech, and the speech of Zayd, 'Umar, and others, is the speech of Allah. Why? Because I, you, Zayd, and others, we are all Allah. There is no difference between the Creator and the created. They said: The created has united with the Creator and become one. So, when the speech of Allah is mentioned, it is the speech of every one who speaks. Listen, he says:
"And the sects of al-Ittihad came" What does al-Ittihad mean? It means the union of the Creator with the created, and that they are one thing.
"With a religion *** that overflowed over what every tongue said
They said: The speech of Allah is every speech *** This creation is of jinn and human"

This is the speech of Allah. The speech of the created is the speech of Allah. Do you understand, people? It is the speech of Allah. He says, may Allah have mercy on him:
"In verse and prose" Verse is the speech of Allah and prose is the speech of Allah, "Its falsehood and its truth ***" The false and the true, all of it is the speech of Allah, "*** Truth and falsehood, the falsity is clear" Truth and falsehood, all of it is the speech of Allah.
"So cursing and ugly abuse, and their slandering *** Of chaste women, and every kind of song
And wailing and incantations and clear sorcery *** And all other lies and nonsense
It is the very same as the speech of Allah, Exalted is His Majesty ***"

I seek refuge in Allah! Slandering chaste women, how is that the speech of Allah? If a man says to a person, "O fornicator," then this "O fornicator" is the speech of Allah. Cursing, songs, abuse, sorcery, and incantations, all of it is the speech of Allah.
"It is the very same as the speech of Allah, Exalted is His Majesty *** And His speech is truth without denial
This is what"
Meaning, as if it was asked: Why? He said:
"This is what their origin led to *** And upon it stands the broken structure"
Meaning, the broken structure that cannot stand, this stands upon this origin.
"For their origin is that the deity is the reality *** The very same as existence and the very same as the possessor of the worlds"
This is their origin, that Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, is the very same as existence and the very same as these worlds. The sun is Allah, the moon, the sky, the earth, the human, the jinn, everything in existence is Allah. His speech is the speech of Allah. He said: "So their speech and their attributes are His speech *** And His attributes" Meaning, their speech is His speech, their attributes are His attributes, "There are not two speeches here"
Meaning: And there are not two attributes here. There are not two speeches, because it is one speech, all of it is the speech of Allah. And there are not two attributes here, because they are all attributes of one described entity. Do you understand this, brothers? Good.
"And likewise they said that He is described *** With opposites, of ugliness and of excellence" The created things contain something ugly and something good. All of it is Allah. So Allah is described with opposites, with goodness and ugliness.
"And likewise they described Him also with perfection *** And its opposite, from all imperfection"
This is the position of whom? The Ittihadiyyah who say that the created and the Creator are one thing. So the speech of the created is the speech of the Creator, and the speech of the Creator is the speech of the created. Look, people, at this position. If it were not as the author said, if it were not that he mentioned it, we would not have believed that anyone holds to it. He said:
"These are the doctrines of all the sects *** Brought to you at cheap prices
And I think if you searched the books of people, you would *** Never find them with such clarity
They were brought to you, so if you have a looker *** You will see the essence of beauty and excellence"

We say, may Allah reward the author with good. He collected them for us and brought them to us. If we searched in any book other than this one, we would not find them collected in this manner. But this is from the grace of Allah upon the author, and from the grace of Allah upon those who benefit from his work, that it collected the opinions and confined them. Then the author began to refute these positions. So listen to him, and he says:
The reader: "So show compassion to the Jahmiyyah, the blind ones *** Who tore the fence of reason and the Qur'an
They scattered behind them, and clothe them *** Or rather, call out in their gathering with the adhan"
