Reading and commentary on the words of the poet: And the end of doubts is skepticism, scratching, and smudging upon faith; the known and the *** rational cannot contradict each other.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reader: "And the end of doubts is skepticism, scratching, and smudging upon faith"
"The known and the *** rational cannot contradict each other when human intuition arises"
"So it is impossible to criticize the known with *** doubts; this is clear invalidity"
"And when intuition confronts these *** doubts, they do not need to be invalidated"
"How vast the difference between a statement bequeathed by *** some to some, the first to the second"
"And a statement in which the Creator created His servants *** truly upon it; they are not two just ones"

The Shaykh : Allah is the Greatest. May Allah have mercy on him. He said, may Allah have mercy on him, that the end of doubts is skepticism, scratching, and alteration and smudging upon faith. Yes, in both versions, this is the end of doubts: skepticism and scratching, which is more severe than skepticism and smudging or alteration. So doubts, may Allah protect us from them, if they cloak the heart or if they are made to cloak the heart—we ask Allah for safety—this is their end. The person remains in doubt and confusion and is unable to escape from them except for whom Allah protects.
"The *** cannot contradict"
"The *** cannot contradict"
Do you have a contradiction or a contradiction?
The student: A contradiction.
The student: A contradiction.

The Shaykh :"The known and the *** rational cannot contradict each other when human intuition arises"
When human intuition arises.
The student: ...

The Shaykh : I mean, the rational in intuition and the known from the heard; the rational from intuition and the heard from the transmitted reports. Can these doubts contradict it? I ask you.
The student: No.

The Shaykh : Yes.
The student: No.

The Shaykh : Doubts that come upon a person, may Allah protect us from them. Can these doubts contradict what is established in the intuition of minds or what is known from the reports? No, it is absolutely impossible. Because the known removes the doubt, and the rational also invalidates the doubt. For this reason, he said:
"So it is impossible to criticize the known *** with doubts"
Correct. I mean, the known thing: can doubts invalidate it? Absolutely not. If I am told, "This is so-and-so," and we know that it is so-and-so, and a person comes to make me doubt it, will doubt enter my heart? Absolutely not. Whatever is known, doubts cannot invalidate it. So likewise:
"And when intuition confronts these *** doubts, they do not need to be invalidated"
Also, doubts: can they invalidate what is known by intuition? What do you say?
The student: It is not possible.

The Shaykh : It is absolutely impossible. And the argument of those who denied the elevation of Allah is that they said, "If He were above by His essence, it would necessitate that He be limited by a limit, and Allah the Exalted is not encompassed by anything; nothing encompasses Him." This is a doubt. This doubt never invalidates what is known by hearing or what is rational by intuition.
"And when intuition confronts these *** doubts, they do not need to be invalidated"
