Reading from the words of the poet: A chapter on the similarities of those who distort the texts... to the end of the chapter

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reader: "Chapter: On the similarities of those who distort the texts to the Jews, and their inheritance of distortion from them, and the innocence of the people of affirmation from what they have accused them of"

The Shaykh : and the innocence of
The reader: "and the innocence of the people of affirmation from what they have accused them of".

The Shaykh : from these similarities
The reader: "from this similarity"

The Shaykh : Is it so with you? And not from these similarities
The student: The similarities

The Shaykh : From these and not from this?
The student: From these
The reader: "This, and then there is a hidden calamity *** In them, which I will reveal to you with explanation
The distorter inherited from the Jews, and they *** Are the possessors of distortion, alteration, and concealment
So he sought to inherit the three from them *** But he rebelled against it with the utmost rebellion
Since the wording of the text is preserved *** So alteration and concealment are not possible
So he sought to alter the meanings, for they *** Are the intended goal of the expression of every tongue
So he came to them while they were manifest from the *** Words, apparent without concealment
So he denied their realities and gave their wording *** A meaning other than their true subject
So he committed a crime against the meaning, the crime of a denier *** And he committed a crime against the words by transgression
And he came to the party of guidance and gave them *** The similarities of the Jews, and this is slander
For he said that they are those who make things ambiguous, and you *** Are like them, so who will rebuke me
In tearing the veils of the Jews and their similarity *** From the sect of distortion of the Qur'an
O Muslims, by the right of your Lord, listen *** To my words and understand them, and the understanding of one who knows
Then judge after this, who is more deserving of this similarity by proof"

The Shaykh : "Hittah" with the raising
The reader: "The Jews were commanded to say 'Hittah' *** But they refused and said 'Hunat' for contempt
And likewise, it was said to the Jahmi that He rose above *** But he refused and added the letter for deficiency
He said 'He rose above' means 'He seized control,' and this is from his ignorance *** Linguistically and rationally, they are not the same
Twenty ways invalidate the interpretation by *** Seizing control, so do not go out from the Qur'an
It has been composed in a book, which is with us *** A composition of a learned, divine scholar
And we have mentioned forty methods *** That have invalidated this with good explanation
They are in al-Sawa'iq if you want to verify them *** They are not hidden except from the blind
The 'nun' of the Jews and the 'lam' of the Jahmi are *** Both superfluous in the revelation of the Lord of the Throne
And likewise, the Jahmi denied His attribute *** And the Jews described Him with deficiency"
