The Meaning of the Poet’s Statement: “O our people, by Allah, our statement has a thousand proofs indicating it, or even two thousand” (The Types of Evidence for the Oneness of Allah)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : In this passage as well, the author (may Allah have mercy on him) says that our statement regarding the Oneness of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) above all things has a thousand proofs, or even two thousand. All of these proofs, from reason, revelation, fitrah (the innate natural disposition), and taste, indicate the Oneness of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) above all things.
“Each one indicates that He, the Exalted, *** is above the heavens, distinct from the creations”
Or distinct
“Do you think ***” means do you suppose
“That we would leave all of this *** for the noise of ta’til (denial of the divine attributes) and the rambling”
The noise is originally the sound of the millstone, a roar that may or may not involve grinding. So it is not possible for us to leave these proofs for the sake of your noise, O you who deny the divine attributes, and your rambling.
