The meaning of the poet's statement: "And likewise their followers, the soft truffles of the desert *** the deaf and the mute followed the blind, and likewise the young ones of the Qaramita who *** openly declared enmity"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"And likewise their followers, the soft truffles of the desert *** the deaf and the mute followed the blind"
I seek refuge in Allah.
"Their followers, the soft truffles of the desert ***" "Al-Fala" is the plural of "falah" (desert), and "fuq'" is a known type of soft, thin truffle that is trampled by feet and ruined. It is used as a metaphor for any person who has no patience and cannot resist; one says to him, "You are a soft truffle of the desert." You are a soft truffle of the desert, meaning a thin truffle that cannot withstand these people, the soft truffles of the desert.
"*** the deaf and the mute" [refers to] those who lead them.

The Shaykh :"*** followed the blind"
A deaf and mute person is led by a blind person. The indication is clear and apparent. Yes... everyone is lost, may Allah protect us. He said, may Allah have mercy on him:
"And likewise the young ones of the Qaramita who *** openly declared enmity toward the Most Merciful"
"Afrikh" is the plural of "farakh," which is a young bird. It is well known that a young bird is used as a metaphor for weakness and lowliness. These are the young ones of the Qaramita.
The Qaramita are the followers of a man called Qarmat. His doctrine was a vile, hidden doctrine. Much aggression occurred from him, may Allah protect us, against the Muslims, to the extent that he entered Mecca during the days of Hajj and killed people while they were circumambulating the Ka'bah. I seek refuge in Allah. He dragged them and threw them into the well of Zamzam, ruining its water. He took the Black Stone and placed it on a house of his in al-Ahsa. He placed it on this house so that people would perform Hajj to it and leave the Ka'bah. It remained with him there for about twenty-two years, twenty-two years, and he was in control of it until Allah saved [the people] from him. These Qaramita are among the most hostile people toward the believers.
