(Ahmad ibn Nasr's steadfastness in the position that the Qur'an is not created until he was killed) And for this reason Ahmad ibn Nasr was killed*** That great al-Khaza'i of high status when he said this

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : He said: "And for this reason Ahmad ibn Nasr was killed*** That great al-Khaza'i of high status
When he said this: The Qur'an is His very speech*** It is not a created thing of the worlds"

This is Ahmad ibn Nasr (may Allah have mercy on him), the second man who stood firm against the Inquisition in the era of Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal (may Allah have mercy on him). These two men insisted on saying that the Qur'an is the speech of Allah, not created. Ahmad ibn Nasr (may Allah have mercy on him) was killed, while Imam Ahmad was saved.
