Al-Kayman is the plural of akwam, and akwam is the plural of kumma, which is a gathered thing. Therefore, when people want to say that a thing is much, they say, "We have a kumma." Yes, we have a kumma of camels, a kumma of sheep, a kumma of food. Yes, so al-kayman here is fa'lan, the plural of what? Akwam, and akwam is the plural of kumma. Yes, and Allah knows best.
