The reader: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
"Chapter: On explaining their deception and their mixing of the truth with falsehood"
They said, when the one who ascribes a body to Allah said:

The Shaykh : If
The reader: "They said, when the one who ascribes a body to Allah said, 'Our Lord *** truly rose above the Throne with His tongue'
So ask them how many meanings the Throne has, and 'rose' *** also has five meanings in its usage
And 'above'—how many meanings does it also have with *** 'Amr? For he is the imam of this matter
Explain to us those meanings"

The Shaykh : The meanings
The reader: "Explain to us those meanings, and which *** of them is intended, with clear explanation
So listen, for that is a denier of these matters *** What is there in it but nonsense
Say to the denier, woe to you, understand this *** which you have said, if you have any knowledge
The Throne is the Throne of the Lord, Exalted is His Majesty *** and the 'al' refers to what is known in the minds
There is no ambiguity in it, nor is it misleading *** it transferred the metaphor"

The Shaykh : The metaphor
The reader: "There is no ambiguity in it, nor is it misleading *** it transferred the metaphor, and it has no two usages
And Muhammad and all the prophets *** testified to it for the Creator, the Most Merciful
Among them are those whom we knew and whom he knew, from *** a Lord over whom he has established religion

The Shaykh : We knew Him
The reader: "From them we knew Him, and they knew Him from *** a Lord above whom He rose, the God
The minds did not understand from it the throne *** of Bilqis, nor a house"
of the pillars

The Shaykh : With us, above
The reader: "The minds did not understand from it the throne *** of Bilqis, nor a house of the pillars
No, nor a Throne above a sea, nor *** a Throne for Jibril without a building
No, nor the Throne which, if a servant *** falls from it, he descends to the lowly ground
No, nor the Throne of the vines, and these *** grapes in a farm and in a garden
But they understood, by the praise of Allah, the Throne *** of the Lord above all the worlds
And above it the Lord of the worlds has risen *** truly, as it has come in the Qur'an
And so He rose with the letter 'al' which *** the intended meaning appeared with clear explanation
There is no ambiguity in it, nor is it making clear *** sharing, nor a second metaphor"

The Shaykh : Nor a metaphor, is it with a dammah in your view? No, with a kasrah is better.
The reader: "There is no ambiguity in it, nor is it making clear *** sharing, nor a second metaphor
Its composition with the preposition of elevation is a text *** in elevation by the usage of every tongue
So if it is composed with 'ila' (to), the intent is with *** the meaning of elevation by its usage with explanation
And 'to the sky He rose' is restricted *** by the completion of its creation with perfection
But 'above the Throne He rose' is absolute *** from after it, it was completed by the pillars
But the Jahmi limits his understanding *** from this, so those are the gifts of the Generous
So if the 'waw' of conjunction is required, its meaning is *** He rose, the first and the second
So if it comes without a preposition, its meaning is *** perfection, so this is not a deficiency
Do not mix the truth with the falsehood which *** the Most Merciful has explained in the Furqan
And 'exalted' is for elevation, so it is a reality *** in it with the masters of this matter
And so the Most Merciful, Exalted is His Majesty *** did not bear a meaning other than the Most Merciful
Woe to him, with his blindness, if he found the name the *** Most Merciful bearing five meanings
He would judge that the word has no meaning ***"

The Shaykh : No meaning, no correct meaning
The reader: "He would judge that the word has no meaning *** except recitation with us by tongue
So that is why the imams of Islam said in *** its meaning what has displeased you with explanation
And we have referred you to their books *** which are with us, by Allah, the most reliable"
