(Not reading the books of the people of falsehood, warning against them, and using the bird as an example for that) O you who think that we have memorized for them *** their books, I am informing you about this matter

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"O you who think that we have memorized for them *** their books, I am informing you about this matter"
This is fairness from the author. He says: The one who thinks that we have memorized for them, let him look at their books, I am informing you about this matter.
"So look, you will see, but we see for you leaving them *** out of fear for you of the snares of Satan" Look, meaning at their books, you will see that what we said is the truth, but he (may Allah have mercy on him), in advising you, said we see that you should not read them. Why? Out of fear for you of the snares of Satan, because if a person reads in the books of the people of deviation, whether in creed, or in morals, or in behavior, or in anything else, if he reads in them and does not have a stock of correct knowledge, what happens? He is deceived. For this reason, the youth must be warned, and we must also warn them, from the books that contain misguidance, even if they say that we know the truth and we will not be deceived, they are in danger. For this reason, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) warned the one who hears of the Dajjal to keep away from him, meaning to distance himself from him. He said:
For the person comes to him while he thinks he is a believer, but he does not stop with him until he follows him فإن الإنسان يأتيه وهو يرى أنه مؤمن ولكنه لا يزال به حتى يتبعه
and I seek refuge in Allah. Therefore, a person must stay away from evil, but if he is afflicted, let him be patient
do not wish for an encounter with the enemy. Pray to Allah to grant you security; (but) when you (have to) encounter them exercise patience, and you should know that Paradise is under the shadows of the swords. لا تتمنوا لقاء العدو واسألوا الله العافية، فإذا لقيتموهم فاصبروا، فإن الجنة تحت ظلال السيوف
Sahih Muslim 1742a
.
The author says:
"So look, you will see, but we see for you leaving them *** out of fear for you of the snares of Satan
For by Allah, its nets have not caught *** any one with a wing that is short in flight
Have you not seen the bird in the cage of death *** "

(May Allah have mercy on him), the nets of these books have not caught any one with a wing that is short in flight. Who is the one with a wing that is short in flight? The beginner who does not have a stock of knowledge with which to repel what he finds in these books.
"Have you not seen the bird in the cage of death *** crying out for the branches"
The cage of death, the cage is known, the one in which birds are placed. Would the bird in the cage be free? But it cries out for the branches, it weeps for them, the branches on the trees are free. It was on the branches at first, then it entered this cage and began to cry out. It cries out for what? For the branches. For this reason, he said:
"It cries out for the branches
And it keeps flapping seeking its release *** but the gap of the branches narrows for it"

(May Allah have mercy on him), it keeps, meaning it continues, flapping with its wing, wanting to fly, but every time it tries to get out, the gap of the branches narrows for it. The branches of what? The branches of the cage. The openings are narrow, it cannot get out. Yes.
"And the sin is the sin of the bird" meaning: We say to this bird that fell into the cage, the sin is your sin, you are the one who, he says:
"Left the sweetest fruits *** in the high branches"
The branches are the branches. The sin is your sin, O bird, why do you leave the fruits on the high branches and come to this cage? Good.
"And it came to those garbage heaps seeking the *** leftovers like the insects and worms"
Yes, and it left what? The fruits on the high branches.
