Similarly, Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) prohibited cursing the deities worshipped besides Him, fearing that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) would be cursed. He said:[Al-An'am 6:108] As for you, when you curse those who are invoked besides Allah, you are cursing them with truth and knowledge. But if they curse Allah, they are cursing Allah with falsehood without knowledge. Therefore, he said:
