The questioner : A religious man who maintains the five daily prayers and the affairs of his religion says that he has a misunderstanding with the mosque imam, so he goes to pray in a mosque very, very far from his residence, even though the first mosque where he prays is very close to his home. Is there any blame on him, O honorable Shaykh?

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and I send prayers and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets, the Imam of the Pious, and the Intimate Friend of the Lord of the worlds, and upon his family and his Companions, and those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment. He says thisThe questioner : That he has a misunderstanding with the mosque imam, and this is not surprising, for Satan casts enmity and hatred between the hearts of the believers, as Allah Blessed and Exalted is He said:
Satan only wants to cause between you animosity and hatred through intoxicants and gambling إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ الشَّيْطَانُ أن يُوقِعَ بَيْنَكُمُ الْعَدَاوَةَ وَالْبَغْضَاءَ فِي الْخَمْرِ وَالْمَيْسِرِ
[Al-Ma'idah 5:91]
It is not strange for something of this to occur between the imam and one of the ma'mums. However, the resolute, intelligent believer tries, when a misunderstanding occurs between him and his brother, to avoid this ill and to reconcile between himself and his brother, either by himself if he has courage, ability, and resolve, or by interceding with someone to this man to remove the enmity between them. In that case, there is no problem in praying behind him. But if that is not facilitated and he is in a transitional period, there is no blame on him if he goes to another place to pray, if his prayer with the imam with whom he has a misunderstanding does not achieve the khushu' (humility) by which a person feels at ease in his prayer.
But as I said first, he must try, to the best of his ability, to remove the misunderstanding between him and his brother.

The questioner : May Allah bless you, O honorable Shaykh. He says, I ask in my second question, and I say.
