The Meaning of the Poet's Statement: "Or it has taken the course of necessities, not *** requiring transmission, and it is self-evident, except for the rare, which requires *** correct transmission, and that is clear"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : For this reason, he said in the third verse:
"Or it has taken the course of necessities, not *** requiring transmission, and it is self-evident"
We do not need to say that languages are transmitted by reports from a single narrator (ahad) and require a chain of narration, and then we examine the chain: are the narrators trustworthy or not? No, this is something that moves among words like air and wind, and it does not require transmission; it follows the course of necessities. He says:
"Except for the rare, which requires *** correct transmission, and that is clear"
He means that it is true that there are strange words in the Arabic language, strange words that are not used except rarely. These strange words require transmission, such that an imam of the Arabic language, like Sibawayhi or others, transmits them and says: "The Arabs pronounced this." As for the general Arabic language, it does not require a chain of narration, because it has moved among people in the manner of necessary matters, transmitted by the entire community, generation after generation, century after century.
