So the author (may Allah have mercy on him) sought nearness to Allah in this section first by what is a means from the attributes of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) toward this great, noble goal, and he said:
"O Supporter of Islam and the Sunnahs that *** came from the one sent with the Criterion" To whom is the call directed? To Allah (Mighty and Majestic).
"O Supporter of Islam and the Sunnahs that *** came from the one sent with the Criterion" and He is Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). I have in my copy "with the Criterion" and the reader has in his copy "with the Qur'an", and the Criterion is the Qur'an, yes.
"O He who is the clear truth ***" and He is Allah. Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) said:[An-Nur 24:25]
"O He who is the clear truth, and His word *** and His meeting and His messenger with clarity"
Meaning: and His meeting is truth, and His messenger is truth. I say that with clarity and certainty.
"Expand for Your religion the chest of every monotheist *** with an expansion by which he attains the heights of faith"
May Allah reward him with good and accept from him. Meaning: he asked Allah, through His support of Islam and through Him being the clear truth, to expand for His religion the chest of every monotheist until the Day of Resurrection.
