The reciter: “O my people, if you had emigrated, you would have seen *** The landmarks of Madinah, clearly visible to the eye
And you would have seen that banner, and beneath it the *** Noble messengers and the camp of the Qur'an”
Did you hear?
The Shaykh : And beneath the messengers, the ra is the middle letter.
The student: ...
The Shaykh : What? The messengers.
The reciter: The messengers, the messengers.
“And you would have seen that banner, and beneath it the *** Noble messengers and the camp of the Qur'an
The companions of Badr, and those who pledged *** The purest of the earth, the pledge of رضwan (Ridwan)
And likewise the emigrants who preceded, and the *** Helpers, the people of the home and of faith
And those who followed them with excellence, and *** You followed their guidance forever in every age
But you were content with hopes, and you were tested *** By desires and the support of brothers
Rather, that delusion deceived you, and your souls *** Whetted the whispers of Satan
And you cast the honey of the texts behind you, *** And you were content with a drop of the intellects
And you abandoned the two revelations, disdaining them, *** And you preferred the opinion of every so-and-so
And you removed the two texts from what they were entrusted *** To judge in it, removing one who is aggressive
And you claimed that there is no judge between us *** Except the intellects and the logic of the Greeks”
And you would have seen that banner, and beneath it the *** Noble messengers and the camp of the Qur'an”
