Al-Kafil means the Guarantor, for everything they call upon Him for. If the people of the earth and the people of the sky, the humans and the jinn, called upon Him, and He gave every person what he asked for, that would not diminish what is with Him any more than a needle diminishes the sea if it is dipped in it. If you dip a needle in the sea and then pull it out, does the sea diminish in any way? Never. The sea is not diminished in any way. For this reason he says:
"*** No deficiency befalls His benefit", meaning His gifts, "from any diminishment".
