This, and how many migrations there are for you, O Sunni, through verification, not through safety (The reason for the greatness of the reward of the one who holds fast to the Sunnah when the time is corrupt)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : He said:
"This, and how many migrations there are for you, O Sunni, through verification, not through safety"
This means: If worship in the time of turmoil is like a migration to the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), then how many migrations there are for you, O Sunni.
"Through verification, not through wishes"
His saying: "Not through wishes" means not through mere hoping; it is a true migration, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said. The Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) intention in this statement, whether it is what Imam Ahmad and Abu Dawud narrated or what Muslim narrated, is to urge holding fast to the Sunnah and being patient upon it, even if a person is harmed, for he must be harmed if the time is corrupt. He must be mocked, and he must be whispered about by the sinners who pass by him.
(29) Indeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed. (30) And when they passed by them, they would exchange derisive glances. إن الذين أجرموا كانوا من الذين آمنوا يضحكون وإذا مروا بهم يتغامزون
[Al-Mutaffifin 83:29-30]
Sometimes they mock them in their clothing, sometimes in their beards, sometimes in their appearance, sometimes in their scrupulousness and avoidance of doubtful matters, and so on. The important thing is that the one who holds fast to the Sunnah must be harmed when the time is corrupt.
