(The Meaning of al-Wildan and the Reading from the Commentary on the Age of the People of Paradise) This is their age, thirty plus thirty, which is the strength of the young men, and their young and old are all equal in this, except for al-Wildan.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
The author mentioned that their age is thirty-three years, and that the young and the old are equal in this, meaning that even if someone dies at the age of twenty, he will be thirty-three years old when he enters Paradise, and if someone dies at the age of fifty, he will be thirty-three years old when he enters Paradise. He says:
"Except for al-Wildan" Who are al-Wildan? The al-Wildan of Paradise who are the servants, or the young al-Wildan who were followers of their fathers? Yes? What did the commentator say? Yes?
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : The al-Wildan who are the servants of Paradise are not among those who are accountable who enter it by their deeds, but they were created in Paradise for Paradise, and this is the most apparent meaning of the word al-Wildan, as Allah the Exalted said:
There will circulate among them young boys made eternal. When you see them, you would think them [as beautiful as] scattered pearls. ويطوف عليهم ولدان مخلدون إذا رأيتهم حسبتهم لؤلؤا منثورا
[Al-Insan 76:19]
, then He said: Indeed.
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : Yes?
The student: ... from the hadith of Abu Sa'id that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whoever dies from the people of Paradise, whether young or old, they will be returned to the age of thirty years in Paradise, and they will never increase beyond that, and so it is with the people of the Fire من مات من
أهل الجنة من صغير أو كبير يردون بني ثلاثين سنة في الجنة لا يزيدون عليها أبدا، وكذلك أهل النار
.
The author (may Allah have mercy on him) said in Hadi al-Arwah: "If this is preserved, it does not contradict what came before it, for when the Arabs estimate a number that has a nif".

The Shaykh : This is easy, he read it.
The student: Yes?

The Shaykh : He read it for us in the main text.
And what do you have: "And it was narrated"? After "except for al-Wildan," what comes after that?
The student: And it was indeed narrated.

The Shaykh : Narrated by whom?
The student: Al-Khudri.

The Shaykh : We have al-Khudri with a dhad.
