The child of fornication enters Paradise if he dies upon Islam
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 5123 ):
Q2: Does the son of fornication enter Paradise if he is pious, or not; because he was found to be a vile morsel?
A2: The son of fornication enters Paradise if he dies upon Islam, and his being the son of fornication has no effect on that; because it is not from his own deed, rather it is from the deed of another. And Allah the Exalted said:[Al-An'am 6:164] , and by the generality of His saying: [At-Tur 52:21] , and His saying: [Luqman 31:8] , and what has come in the meaning of that in the verses, and what was narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "The child of fornication does not enter Paradise" did not become authentic from him (peace and blessings be upon him). And al-Hafiz Ibn al-Jawzi mentioned it in [Al-Mawdu'at], and it is among the fabricated hadiths attributed to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
