The reciter: Muslim ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, saying: Hisham narrated to us from Qatadah from Anas ibn Malik, who said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whenever anyone of you offers his prayer he is speaking in private to his Lord. So he should not spit to his right but under his left foot. إن أحدكم إذا صلى يناجي ربه فلا يتفلن عن يمينه ولكن تحت قدمه اليسرى
Sahih al-Bukhari 531

And Sa'id said from Qatadah:
Let him not spit in front of him or between his hands, but rather to his left or under his feet. لا يتفل قدامه أو بين يديه ولكن عن يساره أو تحت قدميه
.
And Shu'bah said:
let him not spit in front of him or to his right, rather let him spit to his left or beneath his feet لا يبزق بين يديه ولا عن يمينه ولكن عن يساره أو تحت قدمه
