Explanation of the Book of Prayer and Its Times-10a

The reciter: Abu al-Yaman narrated to us, saying: Shu'ayb informed us from al-Zuhri, saying: Anas ibn Malik informed me: Sahih al-Bukhari 540.
The Shaykh : Allahu Akbar.
The reader:Sahih al-Bukhari 540.
The Shaykh : Yes, "the time for the midday prayer is at the zenith", meaning at the zenith of the sun. The zenith of the sun means its inclination toward the west. This is because the sun rises from the east and sets in the west. So when it is in the middle of the sky and descends toward the west, even if only slightly, it has reached the zenith.
The scholars said that the sign of this is to place a vertical object when the sun rises, meaning something upright like a stick, and you will find it has a shadow. And as the sun rises higher, this shadow shortens. As it rises, it shortens. When it stops and then begins to increase, this is the sign of the zenith. This is the sign of the zenith, and at that time the time for the midday prayer has entered and the prayer has become permissible.
Then he mentioned this great hadith: It is possible that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) implied it, and it is possible that he detailed it, but the narrator did not detail it.
It mentions mattersAl-Adab Al-Mufrad 1184, and this qualification is necessary so that there will be a thorn in the throats of those who say that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) knows the unseen at all times and moments. We say that Allah did not open for him the knowledge of the unseen except in this position, which is qualified.
Sahih al-Bukhari 540, why did they weep?
Because, and Allah knows best, they understood that the saying of the Messenger:Sahih al-Bukhari 7294 that he (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to make it clear to them that he is truly the Messenger of Allah, so they wept. Meaning, as if they were saying: We are not in doubt about that, you are the Messenger of Allah. And it is possible that they wept because if they had asked in this state about matters of the Hereafter, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would have informed them, and that would have been a hardship for them. And now we look at the commentator.
The reciter: What did he mention, O Shaykh?
The Shaykh : No, no, absolutely not? The people wept a lot, he did not mention it, Glory be to Allah.
The questioner : ...
The Shaykh : He referred to what? In front or behind?
The questioner : In the book of al-I'tisam.
The Shaykh : Yes, very well.
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) came out as the sun declined at midday and offered the Zuhr prayer. He then stood on the pulpit and spoke about the Hour (Day of Judgment) and said that in it there would be tremendous things. He then said, "Whoever likes to ask me about anything he can do so and I shall reply as long as I am at this place of mine.
The Shaykh : Allahu Akbar.
The reader:
Most of the people wept and the Prophet (ﷺ) said repeatedly, "Ask me." `Abdullah bin Hudhafa As-Sahmi stood up and said, "Who is my father?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Your father is Hudhafa." The Prophet (ﷺ) repeatedly said, "Ask me." Then `Umar knelt before him and said, "We are pleased with Allah as our Lord, Islam as our religion, and Muhammad as our Prophet." The Prophet then became quiet and said, "Paradise and Hell-fire were displayed in front of me on this wall just now and I have never seen a better thing (than the former) and a worse thing (than the latter).
The Shaykh : Yes, "the time for the midday prayer is at the zenith", meaning at the zenith of the sun.
