The reader: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions:
The author (may Allah have mercy on him) transmitted, in the context of the hadiths in the chapter on the virtue of the Day of Friday and what is recommended in it:
"From Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned the Day of Friday and said:Riyad as-Salihin 1156 It is agreed upon by al-Bukhari and Muslim.
And from Abu Burdah ibn Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: Muslim narrated it.
And from Aws ibn Aws (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Sunan Abi Dawud 1531Sahih (Al-Albani) Abu Dawud narrated it with a sound chain".
The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful:
These three hadiths are related to Friday. As for the first hadith, the hadith of Abu Hurayrah, and the second, the hadith of Abu Musa: they clarify that on the Day of Friday there is an hour when no Muslim servant who asks Allah for anything but that He gives it to him. This is one of the special features of the Day of Friday; it has an hour in which, if you ask Allah for anything—whatever it may be, provided it is not a sin or severing of family ties—then Allah the Exalted will answer you. However, in the hadith:, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) gestured to indicate that this hour is short, meaning it is not a long hour. The scholars differed in specifying when this hour is: from the beginning of the day, from the middle of the day, or from the end of the day. They differed on more than forty opinions, more than forty opinions, just as they differed in specifying the Night of Decree on more than forty opinions. But some of these opinions may overlap and can be summarized. The most hopeful time for this hour to occur is what is indicated by the hadith of Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him): Sunan Abi Dawud 1049 It is well known that when he stands to deliver the sermon, the people are attentive. But one can make supplication between the two sermons and in the obligatory prayer. Supplication in the obligatory prayer is closer to being answered because the person is prostrating to Allah, and the servant is closest to his Lord when he is prostrating. For this reason, we see that the closest time for the hour of response on Friday is this hour, from when the imam sits until the prayer is completed. So persist, my brother, in supplicating to your Lord at this time, perhaps Allah Mighty and Majestic will answer you. Do not be impatient for the answer, and do not consider the request too great, for Allah, Glorified and Exalted, is too Great for anything to be too great for Him. Everything is easy for Allah. If you ask for whatever you ask, it is easy for Allah Mighty and Majestic. So supplicate to Allah, Glorified and Exalted, and strive to supplicate at this time.
The second time is from the 'Asr prayer until the setting of the sun. This is also a time in which response is hoped for, but there is a difficulty with this regarding his saying:, for there is no prayer in 'Asr. But it may be said: a person can perform ablution at this time if he needs to, then perform two rak'ahs for the ablution. Or it may be said: a person who is waiting for the prayer is in a state of prayer. For this reason, we see that the most hopeful is what is indicated by the hadith of Abu Musa, then what is indicated by the hadith of Abu Hurayrah. The remaining opinions have no clear evidence for them.
And among what is specific to Friday is the abundance of sending prayers upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). There is no doubt that the Prophet (may the prayers and peace of Allah be upon him) has the greatest rights over us. His rights over us are greater than our rights over ourselves. For this reason, it is obligatory to prioritize his love over the love of yourself, your son, your father, your mother, your wife, and all people. Your faith cannot be complete except by this: prioritizing the love of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) over the love of everyone. It is his right over you that you send much of your prayers and peace upon him. He is not in need of your prayers and peace, but you are in need of the reward of these prayers and peace. Because if you send prayers upon the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) once, Allah sends prayers upon you ten times. So if you say: "O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad," Allah sends prayers upon you ten times, even though you are in need of that and the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) is not in need. But what is the meaning of sending prayers upon the Messenger? All of us say: "O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad," but many of us do not know the meaning of this phrase. What is the meaning of "peace and blessings be upon him"? Abu al-'Aliyah al-Riya'hi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "The prayer of Allah upon His Prophet is His praise of him in the highest assembly": among the close angels, He praises him, saying, "My servant so-and-so has such and such qualities," and He mentions his praiseworthy attributes. So when you send prayers upon the Prophet, Allah praises you ten times. So you should increase in sending prayers and peace upon the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the Day of Friday and at all times. I ask Allah, Glorified and Exalted, to grant me and you the ability to fulfill His right, the right of His Messenger, and the right of His believing servants.

And he (ﷺ) pointed with his hand to indicate that this period of time is very short. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim] .
فيها ساعة لا يوافقها عبد مسلم وهو قائم يصلي ، يسأل الله شيئا ، إلا أعطاه إياه ، وأشار بيده يقللهاAnd from Abu Burdah ibn Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him), who said:
Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "Did you hear your father narrate from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding the hour of Friday?" I said: "Yes, I heard him say: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'It is the time between when the imam sits and when the prayer is completed.'"
And from Aws ibn Aws (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Among the most excellent of your days is Friday; so invoke many blessings on me on that day, for your blessing will be submitted to me.
