The Shaykh : What are they?

The questioner : What are the supplications that cure this illness, given that I do not wish to go to doctors and the illness has been with me for more than five years? Please pray for my recovery. May Allah reward you.

The Shaykh : We ask Allah to heal him and grant him well-being.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : The best thing is for a person to recite the two Mu'awwidhat
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak قل أعوذ برب الفلق
[Al-Falaq 113:1]
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, قل أعوذ برب الناس
[An-Nas 114:1]
, and to recite Surat al-Ikhlas
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One, قل هو الله أحد
[Al-Ikhlas 112:1]
, and to recite the Verse of the Throne and the two verses at the end of Surat al-Baqarah, and what came from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) of the known seekings of refuge in the books of the scholars, such as the book "Al-Kalim al-Tayyib" and "Al-Wabil al-Sayyib" and "Al-Adhkar". He should consult the scholars who are with him so that they show him the appropriate hadiths for the illness that has befallen him. We ask Allah for healing for us and for him.

The questioner : This listener is Iman Ali from Ajman, United Arab Emirates. She says, "O honorable Shaykh."
