The reciter: Abdullah ibn Yusuf narrated to us, saying: Malik informed us from Ibn Shihab from 'Ata ibn Yazid al-Laythi from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

When you hear the Adhan, you should repeat the same words as the mu’adhdhin pronounces.
