Explanation of the Book of the Adhan-03b

The reciter: 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn 'Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: Ibrahim, he said: Ibrahim ibn Sa'd narrated to us from Salih ibn Kaysan from Ibn Shihab from Abu Salama from Abu Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) went out while the prayer had been established and the rows had been straightened. When he stood in his place of prayer, we waited for him to say the takbir, but he turned away. He said: We remained in our state until he came out to us, his head dripping with water, having performed the full ritual bath.
