I heard some Islamic anthems that have melodies resembling those of singing, but without music, and they are with beautiful voices

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : I heard some Islamic anthems that have melodies resembling those of singing, but without music, and they are with beautiful voices. What is the ruling on this, knowing that some of the brothers are hesitant about them and say: "They are from the practices of the Sufis." I ask the honorable Shaykh for an answer?

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and I send prayers and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and his Companions, and those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment. These are the anthems about which the questioner asked.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : They are called Islamic anthems. Some things have entered into them that one should be wary of, namely that they are sung like the singing of singers who sing with lowly songs. Among these things: that they are with beautiful, attractive voices. Among these things: that they are sometimes accompanied by clapping or striking a basin or something similar. What was mentioned in the question is free from clapping and free from striking a basin or something similar, but he saysThe questioner : that it is with melodies like the melodies of lowly singing, and that it is with beautiful, attractive voices. In that case, we see that one should not listen to such things because of the trial in them and the imitation of the melodies of lewd singing. Better than that is for a person to listen to beneficial sermons taken from the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), and the sayings of the Companions and the imams from the people of knowledge and religion, for in that is sufficiency and contentment regarding everything else.
And if a person becomes accustomed to not being admonished except by a specific thing, such as the melodies of singing, he may not benefit from other sermons, because his soul has become accustomed to not being admonished except in this form of sermons. This is dangerous and leads to disdain for the admonition of the Noble Qur'an, the Prophetic Sunnah, and the sayings of the people of knowledge and the imams. So what I advise is that a person should turn to listening to the sermons I mentioned, which include the Book of Allah, the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and the sayings of the Companions and the imams of the Muslims after them. Yes.

The questioner : May Allah bless you.
