Explanation of the Book of the Adhan-09a
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Abdullah ibn Muhammad narrated to us, saying: Sufyan narrated to us from Ishaq from Anas ibn Malik, who said: I and an orphan prayed behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in our house, and my mother, Umm Sulaym, was behind us.
The Shaykh : Al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "Chapter: A woman alone forms a row." A woman alone means that if there is no other woman with her, she forms a row, meaning she does not need to join the rows of men. Then he mentioned the hadith of Anas ibn Malik, who said: I and an orphan prayed behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in our house, and my mother, Umm Sulaym, was behind us.
