Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The one who said: Sa'id ibn Yahya ibn Sa'id al-Qurashi narrated to us, my father narrated to me, Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, from Musa ibn 'Uqbah, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar, similar to the statement of Mujahid: "If they are mixed, standing," and Ibn 'Umar added from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
If the number of the enemy is greater than the Muslims, they can pray while standing or riding (individually). وإن كانوا أكثر من ذلك فليصلوا قياماً وركباناً
Sahih al-Bukhari 943
.

The Shaykh : Yes, the prayer of fear is performed by men, meaning on foot, walking on their legs, and riding, meaning on mounts. When the fear becomes intense, they pray on foot and on mounts, whether they are ... or standing, according to what the situation requires. And Allah the Exalted has mentioned this in His Book where He said:
And if you fear [an enemy, then pray] on foot or riding فإن خفتم فرجالا أو ركبانا
[Al-Baqarah 2:239]
