The reciter: Alī ibn ‘Abd Allāh narrated to us, Sufyān narrated to us, from ‘Abd Allāh ibn Abī Bakr, that he heard ‘Abd ibn Tamīm narrating to his father from his uncle ‘Abd Allāh ibn Zayd: Sahih al-Bukhari 1012.
Abū ‘Abd Allāh said: “Ibn ‘Uyaynah used to say: He was the one who called the adhan, but that was a mistake, because this is ‘Abd Allāh ibn Zayd ibn ‘Āsim al-Māzinī, of the Māzin tribe of the Ansār”.
The Shaykh : And that one is ‘Abd Allāh ibn Zayd ibn ‘Abd Rabb.
The Prophet (ﷺ) went towards the Musalla and invoked Allah for rain. He faced the Qibla and wore his cloak inside out, and offered two rak`at.
