Some people preparing for the third millennium, and may Allah grant us success among them.

The Shaykh : And so, these people followed in their foolishness, and whoever was foolish among them prepared for what they call the third millennium. Some of them are now decorating stores with ornaments and chandeliers. And some are selling goods that are worth ten for five. Hurry up, may Allah reward you, to take advantage of this low price, because after a week has passed, the matter may become expensive. Hurry up to take advantage of this low price. But is it permissible to buy this cheaply because of this occasion? Answer, everyone. I mean, if something is worth ten and they put it at five, is it permissible for me to buy it because they lowered the price for this occasion? Or is it not permissible because that means I have approved of their action? I am hesitant about this. I am hesitant about this. Sometimes I say, praise be to Allah, this is Allah’s provision, and they are running after their sins. And sometimes I say, no, I am not aiding them in what they did to prepare for this year. And Allah knows best regarding His ruling, Mighty and Majestic. But the necessary item must be bought, whether it is discounted or cheap, yes, or expensive. Good.
